Met Gala 2015 | My Favourite Looks

Hello everyone!
As you probably know, the 2015 Met Gala has just recently taken place. When it comes to events or award shows, I always get really excited to see all the fashion choices.
So for this post I've decided to gather together some of my favourite looks from the Met Gala. I'm not going to go into too much detail but I am going to speak a little bit about what in particular I like about these looks. Let's gooo.

Candice Swanepoel  |  Wearing Michael Kors
Candice looks absolutely stunning in this dress by Michael Kors. The details and the colour are so classic and the fit is so flattering on her. I love the neckline and how the back is also a V cut. This is ticking all the right boxes for me and I would definitely have to say that this is in my top 3 favourite looks of the Met Gala. So gorgeous.

Gigi Hadid  |  Wearing Diane von Fürstenberg
Gigi Hadid is wearing an amazing red gown and she looks flawless (seriously, is she even a real person?). I am also loving the hair and make up. There were a lot of red looks this year and this is my favourite out of all of them. Love the details on the top half of the dress, and I think she made a great choice keeping it simple with accessories. What a goddess.

Kate Hudson  |  Wearing Michael Kors
Kate Hudson made pretty much all of the best dressed lists this year and it's not hard to see why. She is looking beautiful in this gold dress, which was also a very popular colour choice. The high neck and the open back detail is so lovely. She is wearing this dress so well and I am loooving it.

Kate Beckinsale  |  WearinDiane von Fürstenberg
Another beautiful gold dress. Love the high neck, and the simplicity paired with the lacy sheer panelling around waistline. One of the more demure looks on the red carpet, and I think she looks extremely elegant.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley  |  Wearing Versace
This dress was also a favourite for a lot of people. Not typically a dress I would be drawn to on it's own, but she is pulling it off so well and I am a fan. The champagne colour, the cut-outs, and her bold lip are definitely working for her - she looks beautiful and very glamorous.

Amanda Seyfried  |  Wearing Givenchy
The detailing on this dress is incredible. Amanda Seyfried is so naturally beautiful and this dress is just enhancing that beauty even more. Love the white paired with the dark lips.

Hannah Davis  |  Wearing J. Mendel
Another stunning red ensemble worn by Hannah Davis, and I think it's the perfect colour for her. Love the wrap effect. Some people may think that with the cut-outs and the slit, this is too revealing or too much but I think it's the perfect way of showing some skin but still looking really classy.

Beyoncé  |  Wearing Givenchy
Okay let's be real, we all know that Beyonce is a queen. She is stunning and could wear a pillow case and make it look incredible. This was a very controversial dress and a lot of people weren't loving it but she's owning it and looking amazing whilst doing it.

Reese Witherspoon  |  Wearing Jason Wu
I know that a lot of people did not like this gown. I've heard people say they think it's boring and isn't flattering or doing anything for her. I disagree completely. I know it's very simple but I think it's so classy and elegant but she still looks sexy at the same time. Reese looks amazing in red and I think the dress looks gorgeous on her. I love this look.

Elizabeth Banks  |  Wearing Michael Kors
Again, another look that a lot of people didn't like. I know that this dress is very far from fitting in with the theme but honestly I loved seeing this pop of colour. Elizabeth banks looks amazing in this blue and the cut-outs are working so well for her. I also adooooore the dainty jewellery.

What did you think of this years red carpet fashions at the Met Gala? Who is on your best dressed list? Let me know in the comments below! :)

Weekend Wishlist | Missguided

As we say goodbye to summer, I can't help but get extremely excited for the colder weather. I'm definitely ready to get back to wearing jeans and my beloved sweaters, although it's still really warm here. I had a lot of fun playing around with this and doing a bit of online window shopping, so here are some things I've been lusting over.
